Hello readers,
My name is Taylor. I am a college
freshman, and my major is art. I am an avid book reader, and could discuss
books all day if I were allowed. This blog is about books that I enjoy, and
that I hope others may enjoy as well. I will blog about books I've read in the
past, am currently reading, or would like to read.
I taught myself to read when I was
two years old, and have been devouring as many books as possible ever since. I
started with "Green Eggs and Ham" and worked my way up to Anna
Karenina, all for pleasure reading. I wouldn't even be able to count all of the
books I've read, whether for a class or for pleasure.
Books are one of the ways I like to
spend my leisure hours. They take you away from reality, even just for a little
while. It can be very relaxing, and can keep the mind sharp. Books are so many
alternate realities that you can lose yourself in, and come out of with a new perspective
on certain things.
Literature and reading is the topic
of my blog simply because I love it. It is something that I am knowledgeable on
and want to share with the public. Reading has been one of my favorite
activities for as long as I can remember, and I will gladly share this joy with
as many people as possible. This topic is the closest to my heart out of any others
I could think of.
I will cover any and all books I
have read for a class or personal reading, and also any other books I would
possibly like to read at some point. Certain books may be recurring topics, as
I have strong opinions on some of them.
